Adewale Adenaike
Otunba
(Engr) Adewale Adenaike was born in the fifties and hails from
Odo-Arawa in Ijebu-Ode, Ogun State. He attended St. Mary's Catholic
School Odolewu and St. Patrick's Catholic School Isiwo and later
proceeded to St. Anthony's Catholic Grammar School Esure, Ijebu-Imushin.
He
proceeded to the United Kingdom to study Building Technology at
Tottenham College of Technology, London. He also studied Civil
Engineering at the prestigious Queen Mary College, University
of London and a post graduate in Soil Engineering at the same
University. He is a corporate member of (CIOB)Chartered Institute
of Building, Association of Building Engineers and Royal Institute
of Chartered Surveyors.
He
is a corporate member of various professional bodies. His work
career started with Wimpey Homes as a site engineer, Bojad Construction
as Project Engineer and later moved to London Borough of Islington
as a Principal Building Surveyor. He later set up a firm of consultants,
consulting for various private sector firms, local authorities
and various Housing Associations.
